Taste and see that the Lord is good. God is stirring something up in your life! God works all things together for good.

There is a PURPOSE that comes from the pain in the process. God knows what he’s doing and what’s best for you. He is right there waiting for you to sit and to serve.

Trust Him at the Table! [Psalm 23:5 Passion]

Stir up the gift that is in you through prayer and praise! [Jude 1:20 Passion]

2 Timothy 1:6 Passion Translation

“I’m writing to encourage you to fan into a flame and rekindle the fire of the spiritual gift God imparted to you when I laid my hands upon you.”

Psalm 63:4-7 Passion Translation

“Daily I will Worship you passionately and with all my heart. My arms will wave to you like banners of Praise. I will overflow with praise when I come before you, for the anointing of your PRESENCE satisfies me like nothing else. You are a rich banquet of pleasure to my soul. I lie awake each night thinking of you and reflecting on how you help me like a father. I sing through the night under your splendor-shadow, offering up to you my songs of delight and joy!”

Sometimes you just gotta STIR IT UP and SHAKE IT UP!

“Even though…..circumstances aren’t so great,

you can get a new attitude;

get out and make good things happen!”

A Word for the Believer!

Psalm 34:18-20 The Passion
The Lord is close to all whose hearts are crushed by pain, and He is always ready to restore the repentant one. Even when bad things happen to the good and godly ones, the Lord will save them and not let them be defeated by what they face. God will be your bodyguard to protect you when trouble is near. Not one bone will be broken.

The Lord is near to those who have a broken and a contrite spirit! I am here to tell you today that God is not far from you. He is right there alongside you, leading you, comforting you, helping you in every task; every step you take. The Holy Spirit is a “Helper”. Our ‘Paraclete (Greek word-Parakletos): An advocate or intercessor, counselor, and comforter.

John 14:16-17 shows that the Holy Spirit is sent to us after Jesus’ leaves the earth. Here; Jesus announces to his disciples and gives them encouragement: “And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever–the Spirit of Truth.” (see also John 14:26)

You see the Holy Spirit has been sent to comfort and counsel us. The Greek origin of “Parakletos” means “one called to the side of another”. To COUNSEL and SUPPORT one who needs it. This Counselor, or ‘Paraclete’ is God the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity who has been called to our side. He is a personal being and dwells in every believer.

The Holy Spirit also gives us refreshment. He gives the invitation and comforts us in saying; that if anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him. (John 7:37-39)

The promise given to us is that all who drink of the ‘LIVING WATERS’ will have their own well within them. Jesus gives us not a stream; but streams living in us. That is; the gift of the Holy Spirit!

Encouragement:
What is your need today?

Do you need companionship? The Holy Spirit is with you!
Do you need comfort? The Holy Spirit stands ready to help you!
Do you need an Advocate? He is ready to plead your case!
Is your sorrow so deep, that you do not know what to do or how to pray? The Holy spirit helps in our weaknesses and teaches us what we ought to pray, through groanings and moaning and all types of prayer. The prayer of intercession! (ROMANS 8:26)

Believe today that the Holy Spirit can infill you, and give you the refreshment you need. The invitation is for all who come to know Him as their personal Lord and Savior! The Holy Spirit woos us and invites us to experience the fullness of his nature. He wants to develop an intimate and sensitive relationship with all of us.

His encouraging whisper to us: “I will help you my beloved; to cope, and to walk through the trials of life. I will refresh your spirit and heal the most inner-parts of your being; the depths of your soul! I will lead you beside the still waters, and restore your soul. I, the Lord; am your Good Shepherd!”

Will you come and drink today? Are you willing?

As often as you thirst–come to Him! When you have a need–draw from the wells of ‘Living Waters’ and do not leak out. Believe that He who promised; is FAITHFUL! He will fill you and refresh you; you shall never thirst again. God is with you always, even till the very end! He will HELP you and guide you; His goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life! Hallelujah!!!

Live life Passionately and Prayerfully, daily in His Presence ~ Chrissy K.

The Battle is not lost!

“At War”

battle black blur board gameThe Victory is yours!

Are you aware of the fact that we are at war? Everything around us seems to be changing, things may feel like they are spiraling out of control, pressures may be coming at you on every side. How in the world did things get this way, you may be wondering? You might feel like there’s nothing you can do to help the situation or to make things better. Well, although seemingly small or insignificant; there are ways we can help. We have a part–rather it be in some small way…but there is hope, there is a way to make a difference. There are communities and churches that pray together. They join their faith with one another by encouraging people in the Word. There are ways to get involved to stand up for righteousness and to uphold a higher standard. We can do our part as believers in Christ to gather with our local Body  in praying for our Church, Nation, City, Neighborhoods, and future Generation. Together we are stronger and the impact is greater!

As people of faith, we encourage you to stand up and fight the good fight! The Battle is not lost. The Victory is at hand! Advance forward in the army of God that you have been positioned to–and declare that the works of the enemy are defeated. Stand on the Word of God, stand in faith. Do not fear, but be encouraged and know that we are here to support you! Jesus is the KING of GLORY! Hallelujah!

Join me next time for strategic tactics to help you WIN in the battle!

Scriptures to stand on for encouragement: (English Standard Version)

John 16:33 Jesus says, “I have OVERCOME the world.”

2 Chronicles 20:17 “Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you!”

1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God, who gives US the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of POWER and LOVE and self-control.”

Hebrews 10:24-25 “Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but ENCOURAGING one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered in MY NAME (JESUS), there am I among them.”

1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”
