“The Mighty Men & Women of God; are Waking Up”

Joel 3:9 ‘The Voice Translation’:

“Proclaim this among the nations: “Get ready for war.

Awaken your great Warriors.”

Let all the soldiers come near the valley, poised for battle.

This Teaching Blog comes to you today; to encourage and build up the reader for those who are CALLED to fight in this end-time HARVEST! There are many of you- that God is speaking to and training and having equipped. Together let us arm ourselves in the strength of the Lord and advance His mighty Kingdom. For the Kingdom is at hand! Draw Near, draw near! God has been speaking this to my heart and it is with every prayer that I release and share with you His Word to help you become all you can be in His mighty army!

Joel 3:9 is telling the mighty men and women of God, the great warriors; who have gone to sleep-to wake up and fight. We are in a great day and hour in the Body of Christ; that God is calling us to wake up and fight. This is the hour of the church! The Body of Christ! This is the hour for the mighty warriors of God to wake & arise!

God has given us the strategies to WIN in life, to win the battle.

Joel 2:1: “Blow the trumpet in Zion, and signal the alarm from my Holy mountain! It is almost here. Let all who live in the land tremble because the day of the Lord comes, for it is near at hand.”  *Sound the battle cry; God is calling you to a “Flourishing Finish”, not a defeated finish. Your strength is in the arm of the Lord!

2 Chronicles 20:15-17 NIV: “You will not have to fight this battle (all by yourself). Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.

Do not be afraid

God is making an army out of us. We are not quitters; we are trained and equipped. Be who God has trained you to be. Walk in your graces, your gift as a skilled soldier. God needs soldiers who are determined to win! He is seeking for those who are unafraid and have the heart of a champion inside of them. Quick to recover, hedged in; but never crushed. As the Body of Christ, we must come together with one heart and knit together so we can become an unbeatable force! Christ must be working in us to become the mighty men and women He wants us to be. [Philippians 4:13 and Ephesians 5:18]

A mighty man and woman of God, needs to be filled (infused) with the Holy Spirit. Be filled and keep on being filled. The Holy Spirit will infuse strength into you; the mind-ways-and ideas of God. The Lord is positioning us take our place and to take back everything that is ours. But for us to be able to do this; we must get in position to receive it. Below are 7 highlights that will help us make the decision to experience being refreshed and filled with the Holy Spirit. These decisions will cause you to be ready as a mighty warrior.

  1. Keep yourself in God’s Presence: In His presence, you will be refreshed!
  2. Crave God; ALWAYS. Psalm 105:4 NIV: Look to the Lord and His strength, seek His face always.” This craving includes; putting God first in our lives. By seeking Him, praising Him, and worshipping Him it will cause us to become closer to God.
  3. Deepen your relationship with God: Make a commitment to deepen your relationship. James 4:8 says, “Draw near to God, and I will draw near to you.”
  4. Press into Jesus: A beautiful example is seen in the story about the woman with the issue of blood.  Her story exemplifies “pressing in” at no cost. She did whatever it took to get too Jesus–regardless of all that stood in her way, or tried to stop her from reaching out to Jesus, to touch the hem of His garment. She made up her mind! She did not fear nor did she quit. She PRESSED in with everything in her! How desperate are we to touch Jesus today?
  5. Rekindle the desire and the fire for His word: The Word of God says, that His word shall be like fire-shut up in our bones! Stay hungry for the word. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you a revelation of His word and to pour it out on you, as a fresh fire. Ask God to give you a fresh desire to read and understand His word in a NEW way!
  6. Keep your life pure: Turn to the Lord with all your heart. And rend your heart, and not your garments, for He is gracious and merciful. [Joel 2:11-14] Keeping our life pure, simply means to keep our life clean. God wants an inward holiness; not an outward appearance of holiness. A pure heart is what God is longing for in us. That must be our desire.
  7. Give yourself to prayer and intercession: A mighty man or woman is a person who is strong in PRAYER! Their attitude is to pray first before doing anything else. They are strong in prayer and faith, and know to PRAY first–instead of making prayer their last resort.

Sons & Daughters, mighty men and woman of God–I encourage you now; to rise up strong, sharpen your swords and fight to reach a flourishing finish! Awaken to a deeper revelation of what God is calling you to do in this day and hour. It’s time to prepare, now is the time to ‘join together’ stronger and like never before and arm yourselves for the battle. Prepare for great VICTORIES! You are called! You are destined to win! You are in it, to win it! We are on the winning team!

“Listen closely, and you will hear in the Spirit, the Trumpet of the Lord.

Hear the battle cry and turn to God with all your heart.”

Do not tremble
God is with you in the battle!
