The Good Life!

Embrace each new day with a “Positive Attitude”

Have you ever thought to yourself; what makes “Life So Good”?

Is your life fulfilling, rewarding and a blessing to others? Are you accomplishing and achieving your dreams? Are you at a place in life that you want to be? These are all good questions to gauge where you are now and to where you can go with the right PLAN OF ACTION. Whatever your dreams and aspirations are; it is not too late to achieve them! But first we have to make a decision. We are all given a CHANCE and a CHOICE, to CREATE the LIFE we want. The inspiring words I once heard, “Don’t wait for your ship to come in; swim out to meet it” Is a great attitude that will help you overcome any challenge while on your way to living “The Good Life”!

The passage in the bible that speaks volumes to my heart and reminds me of this saying: “swim out to meet the ship” is in Ezekiel 47:1-9. As you grow in your walk with God; there will be different levels that you will encounter. This story talks about standing at first in waters that are ankle deep, then as you grow in your faith to go deeper in the plans He has for your life–you then venture into the waters that are knee deep, and then waist deep and until the waters overtake you. You are then immersed in the “living waters.”

The standing waters, becomes running waters. The waters mentioned here in Ezekiel 47:1-9 challenge us to “Press Forward” in life–because as we go deeper; we will increase in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we will flourish and be fruitful. We are given the chance, to choose to go further in our faith and not just stay in the ankle deep waters. You don’t have to keep wading in the shallow; you can make the decision to SWIM in the waters. Don’t try to WALK through the water, but swim. Allow the Holy Spirit to work in you and refresh you. Only God can take you through! He is your strength! Move forward with your dreams in Faith! Launch out!

If God gave you a dream; know that the promise is there for you to attain those dreams! Stir up your faith and act on it. Find out the instructions and plan of God and decide to do the things that will take you to your destination and fulfill your dreams–Even it means leaving your COMFORT ZONE to act on what you believe. The results are worth it.

Don’t get discouraged as you move forward. Don’t draw back!

Sometimes weariness begins to settle in and causes an individual to draw back. When you feel like you are in a battle and want to withdraw; the Holy Spirit says, “To Rise Up” because the Victory is yours! You must refuse to allow the enemy to slow you down, lie to you, distract you from life’s purpose, or put you in a corner. Rise up in the power and might of the Lord and He will show Himself strong on your behalf. Walk boldly in the face of opposition. Be bold as a lion. Press onward, Rise Up, Pray–“I am with you” says, the Lord!

Even when you don’t see any progress with your natural eyes, just keep chipping away at whatever is resisting or blocking your path. When you pray–you are making a dent in the spirit. It’s like whacking a tree with an ax ten times a day, that tree will eventually fall. Although it may be taking awhile or things seem like a slow process–if you keep pressing into the plans God has told you to do; you will break through! So don’t give up to what is resisting you and don’t give in. Keep a Positive Attitude, a persistent, persevering spirit and walk by faith and not by sight—so you won’t get discouraged when things don’t look right. Keep pressing when you feel like you’ve pressed all you can. Press harder!  Press into God and He will empower you to move towards the perfect will for your life!

Make your life–A Good Life!
