God Wants to make you a success! Joshua 1:8

“Good Character”

As I ponder on the Lord’s “Goodness”; I am reminded of His grace and mercy that is new towards us every morning! God loves us so much; that He has made provisions for us in every way possible. He makes a way where there seems to be no way. Jesus is the way! It is God’s heart for us to prosper in all our ways. He gives us opportunities to grow, stretch and expand beyond the norm. What we think is not possible; God say’s it IS possible! We are challenged daily to live a “good” life, a “godly” life. To live our lives the way God intended for us to live. Are we living our life; and doing what we need to do; in order to live the way God plans for us to live?

Jesus says we should have life in abundance, to the full, until it OVERFLOWS!

“Good Character” is part of the abundant; good life. As we study and apply His word to our lives–we will produce the thinking, emotions, decisions, actions, habits, and character that will lead us to our destiny. The destiny that is marked by God! God has a place for each and every one of us. But before we reach that place, we must first develop and go through the fruit-bearing process. Each of us are uniquely designed to be an answer to a problem. Whether its in a field, on the job, on a missions, or on a platform. Whatever God has specifically designed you to do; requires a dying to ourselves daily.

Galatians 5:24-26 Passion Translation: Keep in mind that we who belong to Jesus, the Anointed One, have already experienced crucifixion. For everything connected with our self-life was put to death on the cross and crucified with Messiah. We must live in the Holy Spirit and follow after Him. So may we never be arrogant, or look down on another, for each of us is original. We must forsake all jealousy that diminishes the value of others.

It is critical to have the “character of God” developed in our lives. For without it; we hinder what God wants to ultimately do with us for the divine plan that has been established from the foundations of the earth. (Jeremiah 1:5 Amplified) Let’s make it a goal and purpose in our hearts to have the “Character of Jesus”. When we embrace the process; that the Lord is taking us through–we develop His character of LOVE, GOODNESS, KINDNESS, COMPASSION, A HEART TO SERVE and all that Jesus is! Refusing to develop the love of God in our hearts; only develops the character of the world–which is the works of the flesh. Jesus gives us Hope and an expected end. He gives us a choice. We can choose, and decide to do what is right; because we know what is right, and live the abundant life He chooses for us.

Be intentional! Purpose in your heart, desire and decide that you will be a blessing to others in every situation you face. That’s the character of God. Love, Pray and Serve. (Matthew 7:12) Caring for others demonstrates the character of God. Involve God in everything you do. Don’t leave Him out of your decision-making process. Align yourself to the Word of God, and be not deceived by the lies of the enemy. Always go with God and not with the norm of the world’s status. Check with what the Word says. I want to PURSUE what God purposes and wants for my life–How about you? I want to be molded and shaped by God and His word. What God thinks about us is way more important than what we think. God’s word never changes, His word stays the same! Yesterday, Today and Forever!

John 15:5

I am the vine, and you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in Him, the same brings much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.
